The first and only time we saw BOUNTY in Rostock, was in August 2011 when she became the top highlight of the Hanse Sail. On 9 Aug 2011 she arrived with a spectacular "club hauling" maneuver in our City Harbour. During her stopover here she attracted up to 5.000 visitors per day.
On 29 October 2012 the tall ship BOUNTY was lost to hurricane Sandy. Also lost were two crew members - Captain Robin Wallbridge and deckhand Claudine Christian.
